"The Cartoonist Both Sucks and Blows" Filler Day
No comic today. I had one. Really. I got as far as
scanning, then I realized it was utter crap. I'd rather post nothing (or in this case,
post some old doodles) than post shoddy work. I'm going to route this attempt to File 13
and try again later.
In the meantime, here's some of the early character sketches for Joan. I particularly
like the bathrobe sketch in lower middle. Has a certain
Bill Plympton-esque quality to it. I don't
know what I was thinking with the "doe eyes" in the sketch on the right. Scary.
